- Description
- This amendment is issued to provide the responses to the questions shown below. The proposal due date remains October 14, 2016. 1) The Table of Contents (TOC) on Sheet G-001 includes the following sheets, but these sheets cannot be located. C1.00, C2.00, C2.10, C3.00, C4.10, C5.00, FS108 and FS700 Were these sheets supposed to be included in the Solicitation Drawing Package or are they to be provided at a later date? Answer - they are future sheets that will be part of the 100% Design Development submittal. They should not have been listed on the TOC. 2) Sheet C4.00 shows asphalt paving at surface lot south of the building. Sheet L-102 shows this area to receive concrete paving and pavers as well. Please clarify which is correct. Answer - the landscape drawings are correct. Surface parking lot per Sheet L-102 3) Does the detail 5 on sheet A-610 apply to precast panels on the exterior as well as stone veneer? Answer - Detail 5 /A-610 applies only at the locations that call out stone veneer. 4) The interior partition schedule on sheet A-405 designates various partition types. However, no partition types are shown on any floor plans. Please provide. Answer - partition types will be per P-100, the US Court's Design Guide and USMS Publication 64. The design team does not have partition types fully developed at this stage. 5) Numerous notes on sheet S-205 call for certain concrete columns to be designed for progressive collapse. These were not included, or described, in the Blast report or shown in the drawings. Please provide these requirements. Answer - the notes are intended to be a place holder and a design guideline, meaning some columns or frames do not need to be designed for progressive collapse (ex. the Admin builidng), while other columns do need to be designed for progressive collapse. These are shown in notes a this time. 6) The new tenant space layouts issued with Amendment #1 do not match the space layouts issued with the RFP. Please clarify which is correct. Answer - the Tenant spaces issued with Amendment #1 are correct.
