Description

Contract Title - 542-17-1-5125-0035 FY17 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Maintenance and Repairs Background - The Coatesville VAMC utilizes main power from the local utility PECO to supply the entire campus. However, there are frequent instances where the power fluctuates and the main lines are lost and generator power is utilized. There is a 3-60 second window where the equipment on the campus will not have any power. Additionally, there are frequent power surges and spikes that damage sensitive electronic equipment. To account for this, many critical pieces of equipment have been placed on uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). This contract is to provide preventive maintenance and repair services on the Uninterruptible Power Supplies located at the Coatesville VAMC. General Tasks - This service agreement is for full maintenance and repair services on the UPS equipment listed below. The contractor shall provide 24/7/365 unlimited emergency repair and call-back repair services as well as preventative maintenance inspections (1 PM inspection per piece of equipment), labor, travel and all other materials to perform the checks for the UPS equipment listed in the SOW. This agreement will last through FY17.
