Description

THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT CANCEL THIS IFB This project is located at the Diagnostic & Testing Building, 2400 Canal St., New Orleans, 70119. Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision and expertise necessary to constructing new interior walls and ceilings, installing flooring, painting, installing electrical power outlets, installing telecommunications outlets, adding HVAC ductwork, adding fire suppression lines, modifying the fire alarm system at New PIV Office Area in the Diagnostic & Testing Building at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care Facility in New Orleans, LA. Contractor shall completely all work, furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by drawings and specifications. The dollar magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS 236220 applies-size standard is $36.5 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov) under NAICS 236220 and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://www.sam.gov), along with Vets 100 at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html in order to submit offers and be eligible for award. All offerors must be listed as "verified" in the VIP database, available in VETBIZ at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the fedbizopps website in order to receive e-mail notification of amendments. Point of contact for this solicitation is the Contracting Officer, Gina Roach, email gina.roach@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is not a Invitation for Bid (IFB). Solicitation No. VA-256-16-B-1490 including specifications and drawings will be issued as an IFB construction contract on or about September 28, 2016. Bids will be due not less than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and specific information for the site visit will be announced upon Solicitation issuance. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NOTE: This project is subject to the AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
