Description
SOLICITATION 10/6: The solicitation is now posted. Please note all questions are to be submitted in writing to glenn.mayberry@usmc.mil NLT 3PM 18 October. Quotes are due NLT 3PM 24 October. SYNOPSIS: The 24 Marine Expeditionary Unit (24 MEU) aboard Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for Personal Security Detail (PSD) and Personnel Recovery Operations (PR) instruction in order to meet current theatre and Special Operations Forces Interoperability requirements. This instruction will further enable the 24MEU to effectively integrate forces to support theatre SOF and 'New Normal' mission sets in the deployed Area of Operations. This training is required to maintain proficiency in accordance with NAVMC 3500.99 (MEU T&R) and NAVMC 3500.55B (RECON T&R). The proposed acquisition is 100% SET ASIDE for Small Business and the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611699, All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction and the small business size standard is $11 Million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis for all items. The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. The Performance Work Statement and specifications will be included with the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.FBO.gov, on or about 3 days from this posting. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/ and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Invoicing, receipt, acceptance and property transfer (iRAPT) (Formerly WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
