Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate sole source commercial item procurement with JOHNSON & JOHNSON HEALTHCARE SYSTEM INC for an annual service contract for Sterrad NX Sterilizer maintenance and repair. The service for this requirement will consist of a base year plus for option years. The service for this equipment is being procured for the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 4:00 pm., October 14, 2016 EST to: Jackie.Bray@Va.Gov or Fax: 757-726-6010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS CODE IS 811219 with a size standard of $20.5.
