- General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Virginia City: Suffolk Delineated Area: North: James River South: Kings Highway (Rt. 125) to Nansemond Parkway (Rt. 337) East: City limit of Suffolk, VA West: Nansemond River Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 370,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 380,000 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 990 Parking Spaces (Surface): 990 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: Fifteen (15) Years Firm Term: Five (5) Years Additional Requirements: Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. Offered space shall not be in the 100 or 500 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Suffolk, VA that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Expressions of Interest shall include the following: 1. Building name and address 2. Available Rentable and ANSI/BOMA square feet 3. Rental Rate per Rentable and ANSI/BOMA square foot 4. Common Area Factor(s) for available space by floor, if applicable 5.
