Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16, in accordance with FAR 6.302.2 (Unusual and Compelling Urgency) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Liberty County District Hospital No. 1, herein after referred as Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation, 3840 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont, Texas 77706 for nursing home care services. NAICS 623110 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be emailed to Orelia.Parker@va.gov. Responses must be received no later than 8:00 AM Central time on October 17, 2016. No mail or telephone inquiries with questions will be accepted.
