Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Boston Healthcare System, has a requirement for approximately 125, 240-liter tanks of liquid nitrogen per year to support various research projects. Delivery is planned for 3 locations at VA facilities in Jamaica Plains, MA and West Roxbury, MA. VA is conducting market research and is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) to meet this requirement. This is not a solicitation; it is a sources-sought notice to determine if sufficient capabilities exist to warrant a set-aside of this requirement. Vendors shall currently be VA Vendor Information Pages (VIP) verified or verified by the date of award which is anticipated to be early February, 2017. The VIP website is www.vip.vetbiz.gov. SDVOSB's or VOSB's believing they can provide the services and meet the verification requirements should email a capabilities statement to cheri.wicks@va.gov no later than October 26, 2016. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. The submission of any data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government does not intend to pay for information. A 5-Year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated.
