- Request for Information / EGI-M EMD The AFLCMC/WNY Global Positioning System (GPS) program office is currently planning a solicitation package which may result in a contract for continued comprehensive Engineering Service Support of fielded and in-production Embedded Inertial Navigation System/Global Positioning Systems (EGIs). The engineering services will support both hardware and box level Operational Flight Programs (OFPs). Additionally, the contractor will be required to provide analysis and recommendations for box and aircraft level Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E), aircraft interfaces, cyber considerations and constraints, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources or Material Sources (DMSMS) and GPS threats. Industry input is requested relative to the market research questionnaire.
