Description

Request for Information Business Intelligence Tool Solution TAC-17-37597 This is a request for information (RFI) only. Do not submit a TEP. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and provide indication of their respective capabilities to perform the effort described in the paragraphs below. It is also requested that the vendor respond to the following questions: Special Instructions: a.Provide a brief summary of your technical approach for meeting the Product Description (PD) requirements for Business Intelligence Tool Solution b.Provide a brief summary of your experience and approach related to the Digital Television Services. c.Has the draft PD and any associated attachments provided sufficient detail to describe the technical and functional requirements that encompass the desired solution? d.______ YES ______ NO (if No, answer question c) e.If "NO", please provide your technical and functional comments/recommendations on elements of the draft PWS that may contribute to a more accurate proposal submission and efficient, cost effective solution. f.Please indicate the likelihood of your company providing a TEP, should this effort be released on FBO. Note: Small businesses should include intent and ability to meet set-aside requirements for performance of this effort, if applicable. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Task Execution Plan, Request for Quotation or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for quotes/proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. Any capability statements submitted in response to this RFI must include your intent and ability to meet set-aside requirements for performance of this effort in accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.219-10 or 852.219-11, VA Notice of Total SDVOSB/VOSB Set-Aside; specifically the requirement for at least 50% of the cost of manufacturing of the required software and associated maintenance support services be performed by yourself and/or other eligible/verified SDVOSB/VOSB concerns. WARNING: Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your files. We recommend the transmission of your files 24 hours prior to the required due date and time. Offerors are encouraged to review and ensure that sufficient bandwidth is available on their end of the transmission. The Government prefers that you submit your information in one volume. All proprietary/company confidential material shall be clearly marked on every page that contains such. Instructions for Submitting Questions Your questions shall be submitted electronically via email to the contract specialist and contracting officer indicated below. Information submitted by any other method will not be considered. Your questions shall be contained in one file titled using the following format "Business Intelligence Tool Solution RFI questions-the name of your company."
