Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source Contract, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to KBA-NOTASYS SA 55, Avenue du Grey CH-1018 Lausanne. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for a Wiping Cylinder complete with disc and coupling without rubber Group 428. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE QUOTES; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability. Responses to this notice shall be received by 21 October 2016 at 12:00pm EST. All responses must be in writing only via email to the point of contacts specified in notice, telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
