The quantity of fourteen (14) includes the base contract and if all all optional orders are issued. The contract award recipient ( ¿contractor ¿) will receive as-used-in-service model year (MY) 1999 propane-powered buses and trailers for retrofit. The contractor will perform the design-build retrofit of the bus and provide a fully functional vehicle that meets or exceeds the performance of the propane-powered counterparts in the Zion fleet. The base award for design will be firm-fixed priced. All options (if exercised by a formal modification) will result in a firm-fixed priced, or a not-to-exceed (ceiling) task order under an awarded Requirements type contract. Unless otherwise stated as Government furnished/provided, the contractor shall provide all expertise, transportation, equipment, material and personnel required to properly carry out the purpose and performance standards of this requirement. (3) As used in this clause, records include books, documents, accounting procedures and practices, and other data, regardless of type and regardless of form.
