- Sources Sought Announcement Notice ElasticSearch Support 14 October 2016 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. This sources sought is issued solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation. The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), is performing market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential Small Businesses under NAICS Code 541519 -Other Computer Related Services to provide ElasticSearch Support in support of the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). SCOPE: The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) requires software maintenance support for ElasticSearch software license. The currently installed versions 1.4 and earlier are no longer supported by Elastic which means we can no longer get patches; also the software is no longer STIG compliant. We are currently running v1.4 on Production and v1.7 on staging and are ready to move to v2.1 in the near future. QUANTITY AND DESCRIPTION: ElasticSearch Software Application Production Support for up to 9 software application license suites. The technical support should include response time of one (1) hour for a severity one issue and one (1) response within one (1) business day for all other issues. It should also include telephone and email support channels. Capability statements will not be returned. Please provide the following information: 1. A brief synopsis of the proposed software tool. 2. DUNS and CAGE Code Number. 3. Company name and address. 4. Company Point of Contact, phone number and email. 5. NAICS codes associated with the company. 6. Socio-economic categories associated with the company (i.e., SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc.) 7. Identify contracts your company has been awarded under NAICS: 541519 -Other Computer Related Services 8. Respondents must submit documents in Word or PDF format. Zipped files will not be accepted nor telephone requests.
