Description
Brand Name Justification Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Quote No. R17PS00017 - Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68 at Hoover Dam The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Dams Office (LCDO) located in Boulder City, Nevada has a requirement for supply and delivery of 4,200 Gallons of Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68. The contractor shall make two deliveries of 2,100 Gallons each of Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68 for the operations for Hoover Dam. It is anticipated that one firm fixed-price purchase order will be awarded. All costs to supply and deliver the products shall be included with your quote. Determination of award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable, responsive quote, from a responsible offeror. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This requirement is being issued as Solicitation No. R17PS00017. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-91. (iv) This requirement is set-aside to small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 324191 - Petroleum Lubricating Oil and Grease Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 324191 is 500 employees. (v) Contract Line Item Numbers: Line Item 00010: Deliver 4,200 Gallons of Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68 to Hoover Dam in two separate deliveries. Delivery #1: 2,100 Gallons of Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68 on Monday, October 24, 2016 (10/24/2016) Delivery #2: 2,100 Gallons of Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68 on Wednesday, November, 09, 2016 (11/07/2016) *Note - It is anticipated that a single purchase order will be awarded for all of the required items. (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a contractor to supply and deliver 4,200 Gallons of Philips 66 Turbine Oil 68 for the operations for the dam in accordance with the attached salient characteristics. The following items are required to be submitted along with your quote: 1. A detailed list of the proposed items with pricing. 2. A technical description of the items being offer in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in this solicitation. This includes product literature and description, such as data specification sheets to show that you meet the above salient characteristics. *It is mandatory that you submit product literature of the item being proposed. If you do not submit this information, your quote may not be considered. (vii) Individual shipment of line items will not be accepted. Place of delivery is Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, Hoover Dam, State Route 172, Boulder City, NV 89005-0400. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) Destination.
