- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall perform road maintenance services on an as- needed basis on Forest Service roads on the North Zone of the Cherokee National Forest. Work may include road reconditioning, restoring ditches, removing, cleaning, and installing culverts, installing silt fence, seeding and mulching, and clearing and grubbing. Incidental items of work include painting and repairing gates, installing signs, and installing furnished guardrail. Contractor will be paid at quoted pricing for actual work performed as assigned through Task Orders. A firm fixed price requirements contract is expected to result from this solicitation. Quantities shown in the Schedule of Items are estimated and are not guaranteed. No minimum amount of work or type of work is guaranteed. More than one award may result from this solicitation. Performance period will be from January 1, 2017 - December 31, 2017. SET-ASIDE: Project is 100% set aside for Small Business. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $150,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Watauga and Unaka Ranger Districts, Cherokee National Forest, including Greene, Cocke, Johnson, Sullivan, Carter, Washington, and Unicoi counties, Tennessee. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-17-0001 and related documents, will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about October 28, 2016 at the website address www.fbo.gov. Registration in the System for Award Management is not required for submission of a quote; however, registration must be completed within 5 days of notification of award.
