DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 21 (NCO 21) Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). The Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System has a requirement for contractor to provide all testing, maintenance, and repairs of the fire hydrants to include the 5 year testing requirements by NFPA 25, 291, and manufacture's recommendations. This will include annual and five (5) testing, underground and exposed piping and flow test. Solicitation Number VA261-17-Q-0008 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about October 17, 2016. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications and information necessary to quote the project. Quotes are tentatively scheduled to be due on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date).
