Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Acquisition Branch is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for a complete renovation at the Indoor Firing Range Decommissioning- Swanton Border Patrol/ Sector, Swanton, Vermont. This procurement is a 100% Total small business Set-aside. The estimated cost is between $100,000 to $250,000. The NAICS code is 238990.The Small Business Size standard is $15 MILLION. Contractors are required To provide for the decommissioning of the Indoor Firing Range at the Swanton, VT Border Patrol Sector HQ, to include removal of HVAC equipment, bullet trap, target retrieval system, soundproofing, and all other IFR related equipment and finishes; abatement of any hazardous materials (lead, etc.); and completion of work needed to restore the space to a warm, lit shell. The project will encompass decommissioning of the existing Indoor Firing Range (IFR) at the Swanton Border Patrol Sector Headquarters facility in Swanton, VT. The work will focus on safely decommissioning the existing IFR and associated spaces, back to a warm lit shell, suitable for return to the GSA. The work will include but is not limited to preparation of Abatement work plan via a certified Industrial Hygienist, clean up and disposal of the existing IFR equipment, Wall partitions, HVAC systems demolition, Hazardous Remediation of all surfaces within the IFR and or associated with the IFR, Minor heating installation connected to existing boiler, lighting upgrades as required, Ceiling grid installation, so as to bring the space back to a warn Lit shell. The solicitation will be released on or about November 4, 2016, with bids due date on or about December 6, 2016. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for on or about November 9, 2016. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 130 calendar days and the completion of work is anticipated to be about May 2, 2017. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via a direct link from FEDBIZOPPS. Bidders are responsible for printing the IFB and all related documents. It is also the bidder's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the IFB, and amendments and any related information.
