- Description
- Pre-Proposal Site Visit Attendees Amendment 0002 SF30 The project is located within an access-controlled industrial area onboard the Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Florida. The project consists of the complete replacement of the HVAC system in the west side of Building 101U. The work includes HVAC duct, chilled water piping, multi-ton chillers, cooling tower and multiple air handling unit demolition and replacement; new direct digital controls for replacement HVAC equipment; suspended ceiling system and lighting demolition and replacement; asbestos abatement; and demolition of rooftop HVAC penthouse with replacement built-up roofing system and incidental related work. The work shall be located at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Jacksonville, Florida. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS - Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Merit, Past Performance, and Price. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Period of Performance is 420 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). THIS IS AN 8(a) COMPETITIVE ACQUISITION. The geographic area of competition is restricted to 8(a) certified firms serviced by the North Florida SBA District Office. All firms must have a Small Business Administration bona fide office serviced by the North Florida SBA District Office. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The solicitation was issued on 9/21/2016 with bids due on 11/3/2016. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
