- Performance Work Statement This Sources Sought is issued for informational and planning purposes. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within BEP to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. BEP is seeking on a small business set-aside basis two (2) or more qualified small businesses to respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories n (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantaged Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns),to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement to provide the following laundry service for the cleaning of Utility Shop Rags 100%cotton blue, size 18 X 30 inches, the estimated quantity is 11,000 per week and 400 additional replacements annually. Utility Shop Rage 100% cotton red, size 18 X 18 inches, the estimated quantity is 500 per week and 1,200 additional replacements annually. White bath towels, size 24 x 48 inches, the estimated quantity is 700 per week and an additional 400 replacements annually. White virgin towels, size 18X 18 inches, 5600 per week. These numbers are estimates only; the actual quantity is dependent upon demand. Responses to this sources sought notice are due no later than 3p.m. EST 31 October 2016. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. All offerors are advised that this project many be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 812332 with a size standard of $38.5 million. Capability of furnishing the items listed above. Capability information should confirm ability to supply all equipment and installation for the item(s) listed above. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete and limited to 10 pages or less. The BEP is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request.
