Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to enter into a sole source procurement with GE Healthcare, 9900 Innovation Drive; Wauwatosa, WI 53226. The procurement is a preventative maintenance (hardware and software) plan on GE CardioLab Systems located at the Richmond VA Medical Center. This acquisition is for a base and four (4) option year contract. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement. The size standard is $20.5 million dollars. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. Vendors must be authorized by GE Healthcare to service the above equipment. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are to submit information to: Jeremy Boston, Contract Specialist, at Jeremy.Boston@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am, EST on October 26, 2016. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
