- NAVFAC PWD Great Lakes has a requirement for a Simplified Acquisition Procedures Design Build contract, correcting Fire Suppression deficiencies in various buildings at the Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) and Veterans Administration (VA) campus located in North Chicago, IL. The scope of work is for eleven (11) buildings, and include the following corrective actions: - Removing and Installing Sprinkler Heads - Installing accelerator on dry system - Installing connection and air/water gauge on discharge piping - Installing new dry pipe valve - Install test and drain valves - Replace butterfly isolation valves Estimated period of performance is 90 calendar days from the date of award. Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance will be required. NAICS 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
