This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center needs to procure hysteroscopy equipment for surgery, brand name, this is a SDVOSB Set-Aside. (ii) The combined synopsis solicitation number is VA248-17-Q-0024. It's issued as a Request for Quotation. "Must have a reusable hand piece. "System must include both oscillating and reciprocating tissue removal devices. "Must do Simultaneous tissue cutting and aspiration to reduce procedure time and capture all tissue. "Must have Adjustable speed control (800-2500 rpm) with a monitor for total resection time. "Mechanical design which means no risk of energy discharge-induced scarring. Operative hysteroscope that has all of the following: "Must have a 5.7mm continuous outflow sheath with 205 mm working length to maintain a clear operative field. "Must be an oblique anatomically-designed distal end for gentle introduction into cervical canal and uterine cavity, requiring little or no dilation. "Must accommodate 7 French hysteroscopic instruments. "Must have a reusable calibration insert used to ensure intrauterine pressure and flow is maintained when tissue removal device is in use. Operative hysteroscope that has all of the following: "Must have a 9.0 mm continuous outflow sheath with 169 mm working length to maintain a clear operative field. "Must have a rigid hysteroscope with straight-through D-shaped working channel that will accommodate 4mm instruments. "Must have Rod-lens optics (3.5 mm) designed to provide optimal visualization.
