Description: Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking Small Business (to include all socioeconomic categories under Small Business designation) sources for the following procurement: PROJECT REQUIREMENTS: Background The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (P&LM) at the Veterans Affairs Central Texas VA Medical Center (CTXVAMC) in Temple, TX has a need to purchase reagents and supplies for infectious disease and immunoassay testing. Purpose The CTXVAMC is seeking to procure reagents and supplies for infectious disease and immunoassay testing that can meet or exceed our required specifications. As a result of this sources sought and market research, a solicitation will be publicly posted to GSA, and if no sources are found, to FBO.gov as well as sent to interested vendors regarding this requirement. The goal of this sources sought is to establish if there may be any small business vendors that can satisfy this requirement. Interested firms must respond to the POCs before the closing date and time of the RFI (31 October 2016, 4:00PM EST) to be considered. Interested firms must identify their company name and are asked to provide a capabilities statement (if available) with their response. This notice is NOT a formal request for quote or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government.
