The quantity of fourteen (14) includes the base contract and if all all optional orders are issued. The contract award recipient ( żcontractor ż) will receive as-used-in-service model year (MY) 1999 propane-powered buses and trailers for retrofit. The contractor will perform the design-build retrofit of the bus and provide a fully functional vehicle that meets or exceeds the performance of the propane-powered counterparts in the Zion fleet. The base award for design will be firm-fixed priced. All options (if exercised by a formal modification) will result in a firm-fixed priced, or a not-to-exceed (ceiling) task order under an awarded Requirements type contract. Unless otherwise stated as Government furnished/provided, the contractor shall provide all expertise, transportation, equipment, material and personnel required to properly carry out the purpose and performance standards of this requirement.
