- Sources Sought Product description : The FEDRIP database provides access to information about ongoing federally funded projects in the fields of the physical sciences, engineering, and life sciences. The ongoing research announced in the FEDRIP database is an important component to the technology transfer process in the United States, with over a dozen federal agencies contributing records. Project descriptions in FEDRIP generally include: project title, keywords, start date, estimated completion date, principal investigator, performing and sponsoring organizations, summary and progress report. (Record content varies depending on the source agency.) Product characteristics an equal item must meet to be considered : - Covers the full range of current United States Government-funded research projects. - Search interface that includes numerous primary categories and ability to perform keyword and other specialized topical queries for effective searches. - The ability to download HTML or PDF versions of documents. - The database platform enables users to create user accounts to establish alerts and save searches. - Subscription is able to provide access to multiple users via IP address (multi-user, multi-campus subscription).
