- Amendment 1 The National Forests and Grasslands in Texas is soliciting contractors to perform common stand exam. For this requirement, The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, facilities, expertise, and incidentals necessary to conduct stand examinations on the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas in accordance with attached and reference specifications. The Contractor and all Contractor's personnel are required to be proficient with understanding and implementing the current USFS Common Stand Exam (CSE) data collection design, codes, recording methods, and software. This is a request for proposals which will result in award of multiple firm-fixed price, performance-based, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts for a basic period of performance of date if award through September 30, 2017, plus four (4) one-year option periods. Submission of an offer for the basic contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the option period(s), if exercised. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government and can be made on initial offers. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about September 30. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The Pre-Proposal Conference is cancelled. Contractors in interested in this procurement should register to receive notifications by clicking on, "Add Me To Interested Vendors."
