Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112. The Madison VA Medical Center has a need for new "brand name only" TIMS 2000" video fluoroscopic swallow study recording and analysis system (swallowing workstation). This system will be used in Radiology to record video fluoroscopic swallow studies for patients undergoing evaluation for dysphagia (swallowing dysfunction). It will capture the images at a high resolution (1024x1024). It also includes the TIMS DICOM Review Software (TDRS) that allows for frame by frame analysis in our GRECC swallowing program space. Additionally, the system can send and retrieve studies from PACS and the TDRS can be installed on multiple computers in our program space to allow for swallowing analysis at multiple stations. System should include: "TIMS 2000 SP Mobile Cart Package "TIMS 2000 SP Package "TIMS Mobile Extra Modality Kit This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Monday, October 24, 2016.
