Description
DRAWINGS SCOPE OF WORK USACE - ST. Louis DISTRICT - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is W912P9-17-Q-0006 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89 dated 15 August 2016. This requirement is being solicited as 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541330 with a Small Business Size Standard of $15 Million. The basis of award will be Firm Fixed Price. Additionally, Offerors must quote on all items to be eligible for award. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements. Complete specifications are issued with this combined synopsis/solicitation shown below. This requirement location is, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Physical and Support Service Base, Foot of Arsenal Street, St. Louis, MO 63118.   Specifications Background The US Army Corp of Engineers St. Louis District Service Base will be reconstructing and repaving the entry control point for the facility. Due to sink holes in proximity to this area, it is necessary to conduct a ground penetrating radar survey to identify sub-slab voids prior to construction. Requirement The description of service to be delivered by the contractor is as follows: • The Contractor shall conduct a sub-slab survey of the area defined in Attachment 1, "GPR Boundary Map". • The Contractor shall identify any sub-slab voids present in the survey area. • The Contractor shall identify the location of utilities in the survey area. • The Contractor shall make known other anomalies discovered during the survey not known to be either voids or utilities. • The Contractor shall compile all findings in a single report and present said report to Service Base personnel within (2) calendar weeks of survey completion. Safety The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with safety requirements set forth in Corps of Engineers' Manual, EM 385-1-1, entitled "Safety and Health Requirements Manual", 30 November 2014. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract shall terminate 120 days from the date of award. Delivery All bids shall be inclusive of any and all travel, fees and expenses incurred by the Contractor. Services shall be performed with the hours of 0700 and 1630 daily Monday thru Friday. Any work to be performed outside of this schedule must have prior authorization from a designated government point of contact.
