- STATEMENT OF WORK Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) North America 2017 Connectathon Registration General Information 1.0Introduction: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) requires registration to participate in the 2017 IHE North American Connectathon. 1.1Period of Performance: 23-27 January 2017 1.2Type of Order: Firm-Fixed-Price 1.3Background IHE Connectathons are a cross-vendor, live, supervised and structured testing event where industry leaders test implementations of IHE Profiles to advance health IT interoperability. All tests are evaluated on interoperability and conformance to IHE Profiles found in IHE's Technical Frameworks. The test floor is overseen by IHE's technical project managers providing a safe, neutral test environment and an unparalleled opportunity for industry collaboration and problem resolution. IHE Connectathons take place annually to advance health IT and patient safety. The IHE NA Connectathon offers several testing options including over 180 IHE Profiles from IHE's nine domains. General information about the Connectathon can be found at: http://www.iheusa.org/what-is-ihe-connectathon 1.4Objective Testing the interoperability of the VA Medical Device Integration Adapter (MDIA) Pilot with other health IT systems for conformance to IHE Profiles in Trial Implementation and Final Text. Testing the MDIA Pilot with a variety of standard-based vital sign monitors and pulse oximeters from participating vendors (e.g. GE, Philips, Draeger, Covidien, Masimo) to establish that the transactions and terminology supported by their products are compatible and processed by MDIA on behalf of VA applications, e.g. VistA, Electronic Health Management Platform, (eHMP). 2.0Scope of Work: IHE will provide registration for one system, - payment due 7 Oct 2016 2.1Description of Tasks: Entry of 2 individuals and participation in the 2017 IHE North American Connectathon Testing of one system in the Connectathon 2.2Price/Cost Schedule 0001 The 2017 IHE Connectathon registration fee will permit the VHA to test a pilot Medical Device Integration Adapter (MDIA) for conformance with the IHE Technical Framework and demonstrate interoperability with commercial health IT systems and devices. 1 EA $$ TOTAL:$
