This is a Pre-solicitation notice. This Pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. A formal solicitation will be issued on or about October 28, 2016. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705, currently has the need for Preventative Maintenance on Automatic Doors throughout the Medical Center and nearby Health Care Centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. Makes of the automatic doors include Dorma, Stanley, Horton, LCN, Record and Besam. Proposed solicitation number is VA246-17-Q-0047. This contract is expected to be for a Base plus 4 Option Years. This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside, as I was unable to locate two VOSB's or SDVOSB's to set-aside. If you are an SDVOSB or VOSB, please submit your certification with your quote once the solicitation is issued. NAICS 238290, Size Standard: $15.0 Million, PSC Z149.
