- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113. The Capt. James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, IL has a need for 6" Round LED Magnifier, Flexible Inspection Scopes, Flex-arm kits and Heat Sealer with optional Roller Table. The Round LED Magnifier and Flexible Inspection Scopes will be used for inspection of surgical instruments and equipment before assembly of instrument sets, trays and surgical equipment to ensure all items are clean and functional to support patient care. The three (3) Heat Sealers with optional Roller Table. The Heat Sealers with optional Roller Table will be used for to seal peal packed surgical instruments and instrument sets to support patient care Product Discription: F108 F108-P/Usb Tyvek and paper protect sealer 110v RT108 Roller Table for F108 FIS-001 Flexible Inspection Scope & Software 100657-K Flex-arm Kit 42400-4 RD 6 in Round LED Magnifier 43in Reach -Screw down base This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
