- SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR AUTOCORRELATOR (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO) A.INTRODUCTION 1.This is a Sources Sought synopsis being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time. 2.This is an initial step in the planning process for the delivery of an Autocorrelator. The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. 3.The 377 MSG/ Contracting Division at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, seeks potential sources to provide one (1) brand name or equal to as listed below in paragraph D. to include FOB-Destination shipping to Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. 4.Delivery Date: 30 Day After Receipt of Offer (ARO). 5.The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. B.INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS: 1.All businesses capable of providing this product are invited to respond. Any information provided to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and the Government will not pay for any information submitted. Respondents are requested to submit capability packages electronically, as described below. a.Requested information listed below must be received no later than 1100 hours (Mountain Standard Time) on 24 October 2016. b.Information package responses shall be sent via email to luisa.schum@us.af.mil and denis.mcgrew@us.af.mil c.Information Package: Respondents must include the following information 1.Company name 2.Address 3.Point of contact with e-mail address and telephone number 4.Federal CAGE Code 5.Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) 6.Small business category C. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary and any offer submitted by such a firm will be evaluated without prejudice. SALINE CHARATERISTIC: Manufacturer: Femtochrome CLIN 0001 - Part Number: FR-103MN/KDP QUANTITY: 1 Each E. SPECIFICATIONS: Brand Name or equal to Femtochrome FR-103MN/KDP autocorrelator with Interferomeric Option and Computer Data Acquisition Option. Autocorrelator should be able to measure pulses as short as 10 femtoseconds and have a scan range of up to 100 picoseconds. Autocorrelator should be able to measure pulses in the wavelength range of 530 nanometers to 1100 nanometers. Autocorrelator should have high dynamic range (about 10^4) Autocorrelator should be able to measure pulses with power down to 5 milliwatts. Computer Data Acquisition interface will be USB based, will operate on Windows operating system. Computer Data Acquisition will have 12 bit resolution or better. Computer Data Acquisition will have traces captured and displayed within a 10 Hertz refresh rate. Vendor should provide a parts and labor warranty of two years.
