- The 7th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing services required by a base-wide Street and Airfield Paving contract at Dyess AFB, TX. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. Any information provided in response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Information provided in response to this notice will be used to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside the Air Force. The services required through for a base-wide Street and Airfield Paving contract fall within North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a small business size standard of $36.5M. Description of Services Required: The work covered by this project consists of the Contractor furnishing all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and performing all operations in connection with the repair of various street, parking lot, and airfield pavements. Work includes but is not limited to: portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, milling of asphalt and installation of asphalt overlays, installation of pavement markings, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, swales, surveying, concrete slab replacement, spall repair, crack repair, joint sealing, pavement markings, asphalt pavement section reconstruction, runway grinding, runway grooving, asphalt overlays, and other pavement related work at Dyess AFB, Texas. The contract will be a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for base -wide Street and Airfield Paving. Specific project requirements will be identified in individual task orders. The paving contractor will be expected to simultaneously accomplish a significant volume of task orders. Contractor Response: We request that contractors respond to this Sources Sought Notice with information in sufficient detail to support their capability to satisfy the requirements of a base-wide Street and Airfield Paving contract at Dyess AFB.
