Description: This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, small business, small disadvantage business, woman owned, hub-zone, 8(a), or large business) relative to NACIS 511120 (size standard of 1000 employees) The Cincinnati VA Medical Center, 3100 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220 is seeking to contract with potential sources to provide Access to accurate, current, and unbiased, reference support ready retrievable information on diagnosis, treatment and patient care is critical to the VISN 10 goals of providing quality patient care. VISN 10 requires the availability of a comprehensive set of medical/drug information. In order to meet our needs the subscription must include the following: a.Web based b.Accessible by VA and non-VA devices for personnel working remotely from medical centers or CBOCs c.A resource that offers one stop searching for evidence-based graded recommendations that is continuously updated as information changes and is peer reviewed for a clinical consensus d.Evidence based, not author opinion e.Referenced with citations easily identifiable/retrievable f.Treatment areas must include the width and breath of medical specialties and subspecialties. g.Must be continually updated to included newest methods and/or changes in treatment modality i.Current answers to patient care, diagnosis and treatment questions at the point-of-care j.Content is written and reviewed by experts in the field(s) of expertise. k.Must contain access to drug monographs for drugs used in the treatment of covered indications. l.Must contain evidenced based medical calculators. m.Extensive hyper linking within and between source documents allowing for links such as drugs used for treatment, literature references, tables and additional information. n.Greatest ease of access with the fewest steps/clicks to connect to the searched subject. o.Greatest ease of use with navigational links readily available to go to specific sections. p.Information related to specialties across the practice spectrum q.Availability of CME/CE based on use of product. The clinical resource will need to be available to 11 VA facilities and a large number of community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) across the states of Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Additionally there are providers who are located remote from our facilities or work in remote areas away from facilities. Submittal requirements below: Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the government to make appropriate Acquisition decisions-see submittal requirements below. After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, a combined synopsis solicitation announcement will be published though Federal Business Opportunities, FBO.gov. Responses to this sources sought announcement will not be used to replace your response to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Responses to this notice should include company name, a service capability statement, three customer references to which you have provided similar services to, copies of applicable licensing and credentialing, service catalog, address, point of contact, and the size of your business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified hub-zone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or Veteran Owned Small Business? Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of future solicitations.
