- Map - Industry Day Logistics Information for Industry Day SSR PWS - DRAFT Industry Day Presentation Slides - DRAFT **THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS NOTICE IS 16 NOVEMBER 2016, 4:00 PM EASTERN TIME** System Support Representatives (SSR) - Sources Sought and Industry Day Subject: Requirement for System Support Representatives (SSR) in support of Operational Readiness in the Air National Guard's Aviation Mission This is not a solicitation or request for proposals. A. The Air National Guard (ANG) would like to invite interested contractors to participate in an Industry Day to be held 10 November 2016 at the ANG Air Readiness Center (ANGRC) located on Joint Base Andrews, building 3501; on the 2nd floor, Room 260 (Conference Room). This is a follow-on activity to the Sources Sought initially posted on 10 March 2016 and amended on 16/17 March 2016, under intended solicitation number W9133L-16-R-0039. This solicitation was not executed. B. Attendance at the Industry Day or responding to this notice in anyway is not a prerequisite to respond to a future solicitation. Additionally, no performance to meet the requirements of this notice or proposal costs to meet any future solicitation for this requirement will obligate the Government in any way. C. The intended solicitation number has changed. The new solicitation number, when issued, will be W9133L-17-R-0007. D. The purpose of this Industry Day is to enable viable competition and obtain industry feedback on how to best meet the SSR requirement. Industry day will consist of briefings to provide insight into what the requirement is and how interested contractors may optimize their capability to win contract award. E. Special Instructions: 1. The following electronic files are attached: a. "SSR DRAFT Presentation Slides" with preliminary Industry Day agenda b. "DRAFT SSR PWS" (DRAFT Performance Work Statement) c. "Logistics Information" d. "JTB Map (ANGRC)" indicating Industry Day building location on Joint Base Andrews 2. Industry day is scheduled to start promptly at 10:00am EST. Participants are strongly encouraged to plan to arrive early to allow adequate time to navigate security, drive to and locate the ANGRC, find parking, walk a significant distance from parking to ANGRC, and then locate the conference room at the ANGRC before 10:00am EST. 3. Participating Organizations are limited to three (3) personnel each. 4. A representative from each organization interested in participating must send an RSVP e-mail requesting attendance for all desired organizational attendees NLT 2:00pm EST on 1 November 2016. Specific instructions for this e-mail are in the attached "Logistics Information" file. 5. The Government will entertain attendance requests on a first come, first serve basis until the Industry Day facility is at maximum allowable capacity. Late or incomplete RSVP requests may void attendance. 6. If feasible, the Government intends to video Industry Day participation and post the video to this notice NLT 6:00pm EST on 15 November 2016 to allow those unable to attend in person to view the same industry day proceedings as attendees. 7. The RSVP e-mail referenced in the attached "Logistics File" should also contain questions that interested parties would like to have the Government address at Industry Day. During time allotted for "Industry Focus", in a forum open to all participants, the Government will read and answer as many prior submitted questions as time allows. The Government will not reveal the name or organization that has submitted each question. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask additional questions while at Industry Day but all interested parties are strongly encouraged to submit questions in advance. Questions not submitted in advance may, or may not, be answered in person at Industry Day. 8. After industry day has ended, the Government would like each participating organization to provide written feedback via e-mail to MSgt Hernandez NLT than 4:00pm EST on 16 November (closing date) of this notice. Feedback is requested, but not mandatory, in three areas: a. How could the Government best enable you to optimize a capability to attract an abundant quantity of best qualified personnel if performing to meet this requirement? b. How could the Government optimize your ability to retain best qualified personnel if performing to meet this requirement? c. How could the Government enable your organization to optimize your operational support if performing to meet this requirement? 9. All communication regarding Industry Day must be with MSgt Hernandez. Only MSgt Hernandez, is authorized to communicate information about Industry Day on behalf of the Contracting Officer.
