Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice. This is not a request for proposal. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The NAICS for this project is 236220 and the small business size standard is $36.5M. This project will renovate Hangar 8 for CRL. More specifics will be found in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to renovate Hangar 8 for CRL. The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of existing equipment racks, lighting fixtures and ceiling fans in the hangar space, replacement of doors, and renovation of existing rooms. This work will require selective demolition of existing walls, floor and wall finishes and lay-in ceilings. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 8 November 2016. The Request for Proposal will close 30 Calendar days after the RFP is released. The Performance Period for this project is 90 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed may be issued within 14 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses in accordance with FAR Part 19. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only at www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; see webpage www.sam.gov. All proposals shall be valid for 180 calendar days after the Request for Proposal closing to be considered responsive. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
