- This is modification 6 to the synopsis entitled "Logistics Contract", Solicitation No. NNJ16589301L which was posted on May 25, 2016. You are notified that the following change has been made to paragraph one of the synopsis. Below is paragraph one in its entirety: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) is planning to re-compete the Logistics Operations Contract (LOC), NNJ08JA01C. This future requirement will constitute the Logistics Contract (LC). This synopsis is a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit comments from industry for acquisition strategies, contract type, streamlining and efficiency achievements, suggestions on bundling of requirements, and for any other technical, business or contractual issues that should be considered by the Government on these future requirements from qualified companies. Industry is invited to provide feedback on the specific areas below. In particular, NASA is interested in making adjustments to our approach or strategy to lower the cost of performing these services so that we can maintain our facilities notwithstanding the declining budget for so doing. Products and services provided by this contract are required for logistics operations and support. The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
