Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR ILLUMINA REAGENT KITS RFQ-DC-17-00005 NAICS: 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing Procurement Office: United States Environmental Protection Agency, Superfund Regional Operations Division (3805R) 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington DC 20004 In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a)(2), Soliciting from a Single Source, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Superfund Regional Procurement Operations Division, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed priced purchase order for reagent kits from Illumina Incorporated. The purchase order is intended to be issued to Illumina Incorporated, 5200 Illumina Way, San Diego, California, 92122. The US EPA seeks to purchase the following items from Illumina Inc.,: 1.MS-102-3003 MiSeq ® Reagent Kit v3 (600 cycle): Provides kitted reagents for up to 625 cycles of sequencing on the MiSeq System. Includes: Paired-End Reagent plate (600-cycles), MiSeq Flow Cell, and Wash Buffer. Quantity of 30 These kits are only available from Illumina, lnc., as they are composed of proprietary technology created specifically for our Illumina MiSeq Desktop Sequencer. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA ¿s requirement as stated below may submit a capability statement, which if received within 3 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
