Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113. The Edward Hines Jr VA Medical Center has a need for new brand name or equal Zimmer Air Dermatome is a vital unit that is used for harvesting skin for grafting. A dermatome is an area of skin in which sensory nerves derive from a single spinal nerve root. Additionally, the dermatome is defined as a strip of skin that is innervated by a single spinal nerve; it allows the clinician to determine whether there is damage to the spinal cord, and to estimate the extent of a spinal injury if there is one present. The Dermatome is a power-driven or mechanical instrument used to cut thin sections of epidermis or dermis for grafting, or to excise small lesions. This will be utilized in the OR for Plastic and General Surgery General Features ZIMMER AIR DERMATOME COMPLETE KIT Includes: ZIMMER AIR DERMATOME HANDPIECE DERMATOME AUTOCLAVE CASE AIR DERMATOME HOSE WIDTH PLATE, 1 IN WIDTH PLATE, 2 IN WIDTH PLATE, 3 IN WIDTH PLATE, 4 IN DERMATOME SCREWDRIVER This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Tuesday, November 01, 2016.
