- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes, determining whether to set-aside the requirement for small businesses and for determining if commercial sources are available. This action is for the delivery, set-up and lease of a temporary sterilization facility and separate storage facility for sterilized instruments. Requirements include, but are not limited to: The facility must contain DECON, ASSEMBLY, and STERILIZATION in the same facility. Commissioning, decommissioning, equipment, training and support must be provided by the same system provider. The facility must be able to process at a minimum the following; o 20 trays per hour through washers o 15 trays per hour through assembly o 16 trays per hour through sterilizers Customer Service must be provided 24 hours per day and 7 days a week by a live operator support with an onsite equipment support response. Responses to trouble calls must be answered within 4 hours. The facility and storage must be delivered and installed within 30 business days after contract award. The storage facility shall be approximately 500 square feet to support consumable supplies. The sterilization facility shall have approximately1500 square feet of ASHREA-170 and the Joint Commission compliant storage for sterile carts and trays The Offeror shall be responsible for site setup of the facility. Procurement Method: Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation/Solicitation for Commercial Items The NAICS Code for this procurement is 531120 and the annual size standard is $27,500,000.00 annual receipts. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business (SB). Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 7 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price (or cost) proposal for evaluation by the Government.
