Description
Synopses: The Tennessee Army National Guard (TNARNG) located at 3041 Sidco Drive, Nashville, TN intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to provide all delivery supplies, plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to operate a subsistence prime vendor program for the supply and distribution of food items directly to end users within the State of Tennessee as well as nearby out of state sites. The RFP date is to be decided (TBD). The prime vendor must provide the TNARNG a customized web-based ordering program where the end user will enter the number of soldiers to be fed and program must be compatible with Windows 7 and allow the end user to submit their request through an ordering official at Directorate of Logistic Office to review and approve the order prior to the vendor shipping the order. Due to the different number of personnel in each unit, the vendor should be able to supply less than case lots when required and refrigerated shipping as needed. Nonfood items will not be included in this contract. Normally, subsistence items ordered will be mostly raw or uncooked requiring food preparation and or cooking by National Guard personnel. In addition to the monthly drills, called Inactive Duty Training (IDT) each unit normally has two weeks of Annual Training (AT) each year. Some units conduct AT in-state, while some units go out of state to places such as Ft. Chaffee, AR, Ft. Stewart, GA, Ft. Knox, KY, Ft. Campbell, KY and Camp Shelby, MS, Tunnel Hill, GA. The prime vendor should be prepared to support both nearby out-of-state and in-state AT delivery. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 311991. The small business standards is 500 employees. The award will be based on a best value trade off process. Interested offerors are required to be SAM registered.
