Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) intends to issue and award a sole source single award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a performance period of five (5) years to Lufkin SNF, LLC, DBA Parkwood Place Healthcare Center, 300 North Bynum Street, Lufkin, TX 75904, for Community Nursing Home (CNH) Services. It has been determined that only one responsible source can provide this requirement in the Lufkin, TX catchment area in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to continue the level of quality of VA s critical mission in providing support to Veteran patients at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center located in Houston, Texas (MEDVAMC). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may identify their interest to meet this requirement to Christopher Vu, Contracting Officer, by 9:00 AM Central Time, Friday, November 11, 2016. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Interested parties may submit information for consideration by the government to: christopher.vu2@va.gov.
