- Description
- The contractor shall relocate the Mod 6 ETS Lab from Building 1200 to Building 1560 at Dahlgren. Effort includes removal and installation of lab equipment, Fire Control System Engineering Support (Engineering, Systems, Mechanical, Documentation, etc.) for the on-site Team, and removal (to GDMS Pitttsfield and/or NSWC Crane) and disposal (generally local disposal) of residual material from the old lab. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield, MA. GDMS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
