- This Project is Set Aside For NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic ™s Small Business (SB) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), For Design Build (DB) And Design Bid Build (DBB) Projects In The Northeast Area Of Responsibility (AOR); Contract Numbers: N40085-16-D-3041, N40085-16-D-3042, N40085-16-D-3043, N40085-16-D-3044, and N40085-16-D-3045. Provide insulation on various steam system components, such as valves, PRV ™s, meters, traps, etc. Most of these components require removable custom fitted insulation blankets so that components may be repeatedly accessed for maintenance and repair without damage to the insulation which may be easily removed and reattached. Some standard permanent insulation is required for miscellaneous straight pipe and miscellaneous fittings. Some of the work is at boiler plants 7CC, A6, and 27A; some work is in mechanical rooms or steam pits for specific buildings and some is located in manholes and trenches in various locations throughout Naval Station Newport (NAVSTA), Naval Health Care New England (NHCNE) and Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC).
