- North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331314 Secondary Smelting and Alloying of Aluminum. This procurement action is to the procurement of Aluminum Powder, Spherical, Type IV; that is utilized in explosive mixtures. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price three-year period of performance indefinite delivery - indefinite quantity contract resulting from the subject solicitation. Any supplies and services to be furnished under the subject contract shall be ordered by the issuance of delivery order(s) IAW DFARS 252.216-7006 and funding will be provided at that time. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL ONLY CONSIDER PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FROM THE TABLE VI. PBXN-109 APPROVED VENDORS, ALUMINUM POWDER, SPHERICAL, TYPE IV VENDORS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION MIL-DTL-82886A. Period of Performance: Date of Award through 36 Months Guaranteed Minimum Quantity: 367,200 Pounds Minimum Order Quantity for the life of the contract: 367,200 Pounds Estimated Maximum Quantity for the life of the contract: 8,000,000 Pounds The 1st Delivery Order on the basic contract will be for the guaranteed minimum quantity of 367,200 Pounds. No railroad delivery will be acceptable for delivery orders. All offerors shall submit Certificate of Conformance IAW 52.246-15, Certificate of Analysis IAW Addendum to FAR 52.212-4, Material Safety Data Sheets IAW 52.223-3, and Hazardous Warning Label IAW 252.223-7001 and references IAW This procurement will be a 100% Full and Open Competition. FOB Destination McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK 74501. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/ or contact SAM at 866-606-8220 prior to doing business with the DOD. Approximate issues date of the solicitation is 28 November 2016 with a closing date approximately 14 to 30 days from the date of issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the FBO web site and is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
