- NAVSUP FLC (Fleet Logistics Center) Puget Sound has been tasked to procure services to conduct comprehensive equipment grooms and provide minor engineering and maintenance assistance on seventeen of the Pacific Fleet ™s submarines during its operational cycle to assess and improve the working condition of galley and laundry equipment installed on the submarines. The procurement is for seventeen (17) Comprehensive Equipment Grooms, five (5) in Pearl Harbor, HI, nine (9) in Bangor/Bremerton, WA, and three (3) in San Diego, CA. The award will include options for four one year option periods. Period of performance will be 12 months (6 January 2017 “ 5 January 2017) with four one year options. Place of performance will be Kitsap Naval Base “ Bremerton/Bangor, Pearl Harbor, HI, and San Diego, CA. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 14 November 2016 with a closing on 13 December 2016. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit on a full and open competition basis. This requirement is expected to be solicited using Non-commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. The acquisition will be solicited anticipating award of a Cost plus Fixed-Fee, Service type contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FLCPS This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
