Description

Justification NOTICE OF INTENT The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Help/Systems LLC., located 6455 City West Parkway, Eden Prairie, MN, 55344-3246. For software and maintenance under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available..." Help Systems LLC., proprietary iSeries and Vulnerability Assessment Tool (Compliance Monitor) software and maintenance are only available from Help Systems LLC., who is the sole source provider of the required software maintenance. Only Help Systems LLC., has access to the source code necessary to provide the required maintenance subscription composed of version upgrades and updates, bugs fixes and patches order for Help Systems LLC., proprietary iSeries and Vulnerability Assessment Tool software maintenance for the period of 12 months. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED JUSTIFICATION
