Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Federal Protective Service (FPS) Acquisition Division, has a requirement for one facility to provide one hundred fifty (150) single occupancy hotel rooms for the FPS officers temporarily deployed to the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area for the 2017 Presidential Inauguration. The FPS officers will need to check-in on 1/16/2017 and check-out 1/22/2017. FPS requires rooms to have "in-room" safes. The lodging facility shall be within a 5 to 30 mile radius of 1900 Half Street, SW, Washington DC, and shall have access to several routes leading to this location. Facilities shall have a conference/briefing room to accommodate the FPS officers for the duration of the stay in addition to an enclosed/secured parking garage that can accommodate Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs). Additionally a pet friendly accommodation is required since four (4) K-9 units will be present. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or Request for Quotations. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses do not affect a potential offeror's ability to respond to any future synopsis/solicitation. The Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this notice. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. Respondents to this notice should provide the following information: 1. Company name and address; a point of contact with phone number and email address; and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number; 2.
