- Market Research Questionnaire THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Insulate Busing on all Medium Voltage Switchgear at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Herlong, California. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335313 (Size Standard: 1,250 employees). The Government is contemplating awarding of a firm fixed price contract resulting from the future solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Research Questionnaire will be available on or about October 31, 2016. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, may be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market research questionnaire is November 15, 2016. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the market research questionnaire will be accepted. All responses to the Market Research Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Herlong, 741-925 Herlong Access Road A25, P.O. Box 900, Herlong, CA 96113, and Attn: Jeanine Hamilton, Supervisory Contracting Officer. Questionnaires may also be faxed to (530) 827-8036 (Attn: Jeanine Hamilton)or emailed to Her/Quotes@bop.gov in.pdf form.
