- FAES PWS Appendix A. This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This IS NOT a REQUEST for PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, or BIDS. Responses to this request will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Government to use this information for market research purposes only. The purpose of the sources sought is to determine the interest of industry within NAICS code 561210. The Government is ONLY interested in awarding to 8(a) contractors. The Government is interested if 8(a) contractors can provide the services of the contract in its entirety or if 8(a) contractors can only perform portion of the work by geographical area. The Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District has a requirement to provide Facility Assessment Engineering Services (FAES) for multiple army facilities in the Northeast United States. The contractor would be responsible for engineering technical support, facility assessment, life safety inspections, quality assurance/inspection services, etc. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided. This PWS may or may not be the final PWS used in the solicitation. The facilities are located in the areas of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. All facilities are listed in Appendix A. Period of performance is one year with four, one year options. Actual quantities are unknown at the time of the sources sought. Actual quantities will be provided, via solicitation, if the Government chooses to procure these items. All interested business concerns for this requirement shall submit the following: - Company name - DUNS number - CAGE number - Years in business - Indicate their 8(a) status - Statement of capability and qualifications of the organization to perform the requirement - List of similar projects worked on over the past 5 years and services provided on those projects. - Estimated cost - Whether your company can perform the PWS in its entirety or the company is limited per state/region. ** EACH SUBMISSION SHOULD NOT EXCEED 5 PAGES TOTAL** All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD System for Award Management by award (SAM) before award as required by FARS 4.605. Also, firms who receive a federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
